Ever since he became the presumptive nominee he has been the recipient of overwhelmingly negative press, a Democratic party that has not coalesced around his nomination, backstabbing by the Clintons and their supporters, progressives that have assailed his general election shift, and a media that is unwilling to assess McCain with anything less than hero-worship. Americans are so hung up on race that they would rather have an intellectually inferior war monger who is white rather than a highly intelligent black man. What does that say about America? ”
